Digipak Progress

Here is (probably) the final digipak! However, should Alysha or Charlotte want to edit it in any way, they may do so still, as we have not yet reached the digipak deadline.
  • As you can see, the rose recurs throughout this ancillary task, as we decided it was vital in achieving a house style throughout the brand that the rose be involved in all tasks.
  • I really like the front panel with the shadow, this is a photo which Alysha took whilst filming and has manipulated on photoshop. It echoes the theme of the rose and also of some form of spirituality, as shadows have a sort of eerie feel to them.
  • The repeated rose pattern on the back of the digipak provides a brilliant background for the text to go ontop of. I think it looks really professional and would completley fit in in HMV with other digipaks.
  • The two inside panels have shots of the gates opening and closing, this is also a shot we have used in our music video, thus giving a consistent house style. The gates also have some special quality to them, conveying opportunity or possibly closing on the opportunity. As they are such a nondescript object, they can convey many things, ultimatley the mystery of the album. The use of black and white also links the digipak with the video as we have used the desaturate tool a lot in our video.

Well done girls :)
